Talking looking to install CSI elec. water pump

Hey guy , im sure that a few of you have installed elec water pumps in your cars. My question is: what did you use to plug the hole in the waterpump, and what about the timing cover?

I got my CSI from a off-board GP that happened a while ago. I know Jegs carries then for $135 I believe.

The install was easy. The hardest part was removing the balancer to remove the drive gear off the timing chain, which is an optional step. I got my plug for the timing cover from a local parts store that had to special order a box of them in just for me. It's nice knowing the owner.

I've heard that a quarter and JB Weld works very well as well.

I had a Mezzerie Electric H2O pump.. I regretted it.. Not because of the power.. but cause it wasnt good for high speed prolonged runs...

I had a long 1 hour commute at high speeds (ususally seeing 150 but cruise control at 95) and that really hurt me since the Mez couldnt out flow the stock unit.. that made my engine have problems a couple times..

coolant would get too hot.. create hot spots and made my head gasket fail..
