Looking for AGR valve adaptor
Looking for AGR valve adaptor
Finally got AZspeed&marine headers order for a 96 SS ..... need to find adaptor for AGR tube to fit new header. stock one is not tranferable. these guys are giving me the run-around. anyone know where to find this?
Re: Looking for AGR valve adaptor
There's an "EGR" tube and two "AIR" tubes. No "AGR" tube.
Do you mean "EGR" tube that runs from the #8 primary to the back of the intake manifold?
I have the AS&M single cat headers, and the stock EGR riser tube fits fine (when it was still installed). Since you mentioned they are for a 96, are they single-cat or dual-cat headers? They stopped making the dual-cat AS&M's several years ago.
Or, another possibility.. you mean "AIR" tube(s). The 96/97 AIR tubes that go into the top of each header (#1 and # 2 primaries) are a smaller thread then the 93-95 cars. You could probably find someone with a 94/95 car that has done and "AIR delete" and get the plumbing they removed.
