150 is kind of pushing it with the stock pistons...if I remember right, 125 is about as high as you want to go.

I would go with Headers and exhaust, and then go with a converter later.

150 to much

Im going to back it down to 125.The car goes to the track and car shows. I might put 1200 miles on it a year.

1200 miles is at least 2400 passes down the strip

Mileage doesn't matter because you aren't spraying the entire time you are driving, for your piston's sake...125 would be good.

I'd take the money and invest it in a English Composition night class at the Community College.

Maybe you should join him.

Anyways, OP, I'm not sure what your question is. Are you asking whats better, a stall or headers?

Anyways, freeing up the exhaust (long tubes and true duals) will gain you quite a bit of power and really wake up your car, I think headers are one of the best bolt ons you can get, especially if you are also looking for some more growl from the exhaust.

Stalls are great and will really help your car hook, however I think I'd go with full exhaust first. Also, when you decide to go with a stall, do your research and know that you get what you pay for. Buy a good name brand stall.

FYI: Be prepared for a header bolt to break off in the head. Happens alot.

This is not necessarily true...at least I wouldn't call it happening frequently.

I have done about a dozen header installs and not once have I had a bolt break off in the head. I have seen stripped threads, but never a broken bolt. This is because the factory used generous amounts of anti-seize compound on the OEM bolts. The only time I can imagine a bolt breaking off in the head is if an aftermarket bolt was put in without anti-seize. Just make sure you have the ratchet centered and don't put any lateral pressure on the bolt.

You should have little to no problem removing the OEM bolts. Half of the problem is just getting to them. Trust me. Others will agree.
