thank you for hosting, i think im going to use that filter for my kit since it seemed the previous owner decided to place a smaller filter on the end of the cai...

could you tell me again whats the part # of that filter, and does it fit on the k&n cai tube??

 

filter number is re810 i ordered it from jegs and it cost around 50 bucks. i dunno if it fits on the k&n cai. im designing a custom cai for it. it does fit on the stock intake piping tho. it fits perfect on a 3"od pipe. i would have had the cai fabed up this weekend but the damn guy who was susposed to bend the pipe for me did it with a reagular bender instead of his mandrel bender so i have to wait a nother week to get the piping .

 

what kind of piping are you going use and do you think it will fit around the abs module?

 

im using 3" id aluminum piping. and its being bent to work around the abs module. the cai was designed in auto cad by me and looks like its going to be the besd design i have seen so far. i am also working on a dual filter design. but that is another story.
