.....well I wanted to see the filter..... 
..... but oh well. I have a K & N
on my home made CAI and its WAY to big. I got a little carried away! {to
say the least}. I went with the one thats 18" long x 7" in diameter. I
like the metal top, it has a 1/4" stud coming out of the end & I used an
aluminum strap to hold it in place. Also used pipe fittings that I got at Ace
Hardware so that the filter un-screws to take off. Everything came out
BEAUTIFUL except the filter is way to big.....But it hits on EVERYTHING!!!

near future I'm replacing it with the one thats 9" long x 7" in diameter.....
That size is even HUGE...... Billl....

...yeah, the part number K&N that I used was # 41-1400. I'm replacing it
with part # RC 4780 {4" inlet x 9 1/2" long x 6 5/8" base diameter x 5 1/4"
top diameter}. It also has a 1/4 x 20 metal stud in the top to help hold it.
The reason I like the stud is that I had a home made CAI fall off in the street
once & I ran over it!!! Da, way to go Bill..... Anyway yours is 3" inlet x
9" long x 6" base diameter x 4 5/8" top diameter..... I'll post pictures of my
CAI along with naked pictures of my girlfriend tomorrow.... Billl.....
