Longtubes with cats

I'm consittering switching to Longtubes with emissions connections. But I would need to run cats. Anyone done this? Are there any clearance issues? Will it work? I know the LS1 cars have LTs with cats available, but I've never seen them for LT1s.

I seen it before, even considered it myself. Jet-hots LT's with fabricated Y-Pipe holding 2 catco cats. No problems with clearance, but with emissions - cat's rellocation is a problem for majority of states.

I know it wouldn't be EPA legal. But here in Delaware they don't seem to car so much about the letter of the law so long as your within the spirit of it. They just want to see cats.

Its definitely possible, I merged a pair of Pypes 3" minicats into my y-pipe. Clearance is pretty good, but sometimes under hard acceleration the drivers side cat rattles on the torque arm a little bit.
