Long tubes hitting K member..
my jet hots are hitting my k member on the passenger side on the part that is just behind the motor mount.. its right near where the back bolt is to drop the k member.. I tried to pry it off, that didnt work so well, i was afraid to push so hard on my headers.. anyone have this problem or know how to solve it?? It makes a slight rattling when im letting of the clutch in 1st and on the 1st and 2nd shift about 20% of the time..

also check the a/c lines under the first primary on the same side.

i think i know, mine where close there to. right where the tubes come down just before the turn to the back, right.
what you could try is unbolting the transmission mount and jacking the back of the tranny up, that should give you the clearance between the primary and k member. thats why i used the dremmel with the porter bit to reach between there.

what are YOU up to tonight big boi?
Mine is doing the same thing. It was fine at first but i think with all the power my car is making now, it started to loosen up the motor mounts and now it rattles like hell at idle. Drives me nuts. I have to figure out what im gunna do. Where do you get those poly mounts?

The solution for me was to replace my motor mount. I installed a poly mount on that side and it's not touched since.
Still have to do the driver's side though.
