Long Tubes and Fuel lines.

Just installed my Pacesetter long tubes. Problem i am have is that the Pacesetter y-pipe is pretry close to some steel fuel lines. Im not sure there will be room to get a heatsheild in there. What did you guys do? Just leave them be?

I have only driven the car short distances, doesnt feel like they are getting to warm, but i am worried about longer drives, or sitting in traffic with no air flow.

i'm sure they pass over the same area every other y pipe does.. as long as their is a decent enough air gap between i don't think you should have any problem's.. the air's usually moving under their fairly often..

I had the same concern with my Pacesetter LT's and fuel lines. I ordered some cool-foil-tape from www.blrmotorsports.com and wrapped both fuel and brakes lines that were close the LT's and Y-pipe. Probably would have been fine...just a peace of mind thing!
