Long tube header questions
Hello. I'm going to purchase/ install a set of long-tube headers. I've looked at a couple brands and have some Q's.
I was looking at the Hooker 1 3/4" long tubes. The description for them says that there are no O2 sensor fittings installed. I did see a mufflex Y-pipe for use with the Hooker headers that has O2 fittings. So, will this cover the requirement for my front two O2 sensors while using O2 simms for the rear two? I'm assuming the car will run like crap with no O2 sensors. Also, what about the other emissions fittings?
I also looked at the AS&M long tubes with a single cat Y-pipe. Anyone have experience with these? Do they offer comparable performance to the Hooker headers?
Finially, I'm running MSD 8.8 plug wires. Do I need a different brand (ie longer wires) or some kind of heat shielding to keep from cooking the wires on the header tubes? Any suggestions here would be appreciated!
I don't have to worry about basic emissions tests, but the car is a daily driver. I'd like to avoid a pile of engine codes for all the vaious emissions sensors.
Any answers or suggestions would be much appreciated. Thanks in advance.

As shown above Jet-Hot has emission ready headers, and Hooker makes a y-pipe now that fits it great. Ls1Speed has it, as well as Summit racing. Summit is cheaper, but has a long back order.
Having the front O2 sensors as close as possible to the header collectors is best, hotter air. And I do believe the car will run sh***y without O2 sensors.
