Yes. My car is not lowered and I still have cross bumps at a 45 degree angle. Mine has scrapes on the Y pipe right behind front tires. Small price to pay though. I would do it again.

Yes, you will scrape with the hookers b/c of the flange. If you buy pacesetters you will not scrap as much or at all. In my opinon, I have had both and still have the pacesetters. The pacesetters fit closer to the floor then hookers do.

One guy I know has Longtubes and he says they bang on his K member and it creates a lot of false knock. Do yall have this problem? It was making me hesitate on getting Longtubes.

Mine don't bang on the K member. Don't put LTs on a lowered car. Don't put side pipes on either

Re: Long Tube Header Clearence

It all depends on how you use your car. I have the ebach prokit on my car and it it probably lowered about 1.4-1.5 inches. My Jet Hot LT's are pretty close to the ground, but will not scrape if going over a speed bump. The main thing you would have to worry about is the lowest point on the y-pipe. I have 3" true duals wiht a x-pipe and I wont dare go over any speed bumps becaue the x-pipe is so close to the ground in the center of the car. I don't care because my everyday car is my honda prelude.
