Location of Schraeder valve, also coil reinstallation question?

Hi,

I have three questions:

1) where is the Schraeder valve to relieve fuel system pressure?

2) When reinstalling the coil mounting, ignition control module etc., there is a little canister type thingie attached to one of the brackets, with two connections to it. I read that this is something to do with the fuel system, but can't find it in my service manual. I'm wondering if I reinstalled it correctly, the way it is now it says "Made in USA" right on top. There are 3 connectors in all, and electrical one and what looks to be 2 pressure ones. I put the pressure connector on the LOWER of the two, and there doesn't seem to be anything that fits on the other. Did I do this right?

3) What is the little mounting with the rotating plastic thing behind the above? Again, I can't find it in the shop manual and I'm wondering if I put it in right.

In any case, the car starts and runs alright, but it threw a SES light at me at one point that I cleared by disconnecting the battery, retightened all connections, and so far it hasn't come back...

Thanks,

Rob

The schraeder valve is located behind the intake manifold right next to the passenger side fuel rail, it can't be seen easily but you should feel the black plastic cover.
The thing you're discribing could be the AIR pump. Couldn't be of much help here since I've ditched mine when the LTs went in.

Ok, thanks. Can you just open it or does it require a socket or anything?

Its just like a tire valve there's a plastic cover which you unscrew by hand and you can bleed pressure just as you would with a tire. Its better to reduce the pressure first by unpluging the fuel pump socket at the rear of the car, start the car untill it stalls then you have less fuel pressure at the schreader valve. Make sure that you put rags around the valve before bleeding because either way you'll have fuel splash in the engine bay.
