Since I moved here to Albuquerque, I've had to rely on altitude correction calculators to get a ballpark # of what my car is worth in the 1/4.

I have every "bolt-on" on my car, short of headers. My previous best in Seattle last year was a 13.48 @ 102.

I've added full roller rockers and an electric water pump since then, and based on the "NHRA Altitude Correction Calculator", it's showing me running a 13.18 @ 108. That seems a little too optimistic for me; realistic #'s for me would be a high 13.2X-13.30 something @ 105-ish.

The only thing I take out of my car for the track is the spare and jack, and typically run at about 1/4-1/2 tank of gas.

Last Friday's DA here was @ 8,000 ft!

well all I can tell you is it aint fully factory with only horsepower free up bolt ons, see thats the difference, what we consider bolt ons only free up horsepower, bolt ons that add power are not the "bolt ons" we refer to cuz that can be anything.

I bet he has the 226/234 Joe O' custom cam which I heard sounds pretty tame & I'm sure with enough closed throttle timing advance can be made sounding stock at 1000rpm or so idle LOL, but that cam has ran close to 118 mph with ported heads.

Easy test is tell him to put the stock exhaust manifolds back on, if he looses 13mph then we know the cam/heads aint stock LOL.

I can't see the car running that kind of time. I think that would be right on with nitrous. When I had a few bolt ons and nitrous I ran a 12.2 @ 116

another thing about this particular car is that it is not only full factory weight, but has added weight. such as a sub box with subwoofers. has 3.42 gear and somehow manages to trap higher than the fastest CAM-only LT1 in the nation (which has 4.33's,skinnies,ect.). that was atljar and he only trapped 115. something just doesnt add up. i PM'd this to the owner of the car so we will see if he can shed some light for everyone.

funny part about this is that the guy who does work on this car prides himself in his dables with nitrous, and how well it can be hidden.

I believe SAR2K has the quickest bolt-on LT1 in the country at 11.96 @ ~112 mph. And that's with EVERY bolt-on plus weight reduction plus alot of converter and launch.

Ok, come up to dragway 42 and run that, can't be more than a few hours North from where they are currently running.
Dude in your case...something aint right...LOL I trapped 103mph and all mods below..minus a few small things.

atljar is the fastest cam only LT1 in the nation
His cars running great times but I'm pretty sure there are others running better ET's at least, not sure about the MPH. No offense of course atljar

Ya I think frank is the fastest that i know of 11.4 something in his lightweight a4?

I havent seen any full weight 6 speed cars faster, or any car trapping higher, but you are comming really really close as i said before, lol.

I was pretty sure someone was in the mid 11's on a cam only, it's a little easier for those A4 guys

BS...something is not right there. Your telling me that a bolt on only car that weights more than I do..with way less gear is only 6 mph off my car in what I would bet was run in worse weather being this time of the year. yea..right. He may want to claim that ...but he won't get anyone to believe it. His claim of bolt ons is going to be off I bet. Either that car is sprayed, or considers a valve job and a reground stock cam as a still being "stock" with bolt ons.

You also have to remember that both SAR2K and Frank95Z were running their et/mph in very good -DA weather. This guy is getting non of that this time of year...unless its DA in a bottle.

Bahaha. I think I'll just "bolt on" a 150 shot and hit some 10's.
