Lloyd or trick flow heads???

I am in need of some decient heads. I have been looking and was wondering if Lloyds heads are better than the new trick flows? Or are trick flows better? I have a cc306 cam on a stock(trying to get $ for a 355 or 383) But here is a link to the trick flows...http://store.summitracing.com/search...D3042b010&y=16

Now you have to keep in mind that is for BARE heads I would spend another 170 to get valves..for a total of right around 1k. What is my better deal Lloyd or trick...Or are there anymore out there with a better deal?

thansk

Lloyd's heads are going to make more power than a stock set of trick flows.

Yep, you should get lloyd's heads. Trick flows will need to be further ported to reach his numbers.

your intake peak number is the same as most of Lloyds .600 numbers. your exhaust number is doctored. I have never seen a lt1 exhaust port that flowed that, without extensive welding. Lloyd flows his exhaust without a pipe. mine flowed 191 at .600 with no pipe.
Lloyds heads are a great bang for the buck. I would go with them again.

Listen to Kmook. Just call Lloyd and tell him what your looking for. He's a great guy and will do his best to help you with what you want to accomplish.

Lloyd, head will flow better. He can give a custom cam to match the the package you want. stages 1 2 3.... Trick flow heads are crap.

How about you stop advertising parts and/or services since your not a paying advertisor. I already edited your advertisements in the forum I moderate and would here to but I'll have to leave that to Brent. Thank you.

if you're considering aftermarket heads, screw trick flow, go with AFRs they're proven, and offer more options in port size and more potential for flow

Another vote for Lloyd, he's got a heads and cam package for $1100. You'd have to spend a pretty good amount over the cost of bare trickflow's to get in the same power ballpark as that package. Also, the Trickflow's will lower your compression unless you get them milled down. Of course, this would be yet another additional cost.

i wouldnt go that far
noone has really had a chance to use them yet (that most have heard of anyway) i would bet they are a very good alternative to AFR for quite a bit less money

Trick Flow makes some very good heads for Ford and GEN1 SBC motors, which LT1's pretty much are!

hard to beat Lloyds prices tho
