Lloyd Elliot LE2 cam install a success

Hey Guys,
After many scrapes and bruises, burned fingertips, and many many curse words, I finially finished it myself a couple of weeks ago. The knowledge gained from doing your on work is invaluable!
The LE2 cam feels much stronger and pulls harder than my cc 230/236/112. But at the same if feels smoother while doing it.
The idle is not as aggressive as my old cam, but you can definately tell its cammed. So I now have Lloyd Elliot heads and cam combo Lloyd has great customer service and is a stand up guy.
I give much thanks to all on this board who helped either directly or indirectly.
My LTs are going on this week and a custom dyno tune will follow. The car runs just fine on my old program, but is running rich.
I'll keep you all posted.

Thanks,

Anyone want to buy a cc 230/236/112 w/about 3k miles on it. Also some Stainless Steel SLP shorties will be up for sale as soon as the LTs go on.

I am about to install a set of Jordon Musser fully ported LT4 heads/intake and a Combination Motorsports 233/239 cam in my 1994 Trans Am.
Then We are putting a cc306 cam in my little brother's full bolton 95 Formula.

Nice, I'll be interested to see what dyno/track #'s it puts down. Le2 package in a correctly setup car should be good enough for 11.50's at 118+mph with no weight reduction.

Congrats on tackling the job yourself. Without giving away the farm, is there a reasonable range someone could give on the spec of the LE2 cam?

Imagine something GM 847ish. ex: different lifts, but more aggressive ramps. Different Lsa too.

Re: Lloyd Elliot LE2 cam install a success

The LE2 sounds just as radical as the 230/236... easily.. In fact, a little more so I think. But that may just be me since when I had the 230/236, I was running true duals ~ and just installed an LE2 a few weeks ago w/ an SLP two on the left exhaust - 3.5int. pipe and 3.5 inch cutout though

What RPM's are you other LE2 cam owners able to rev/ make power to? I'm going to be doing some tuning w/ mine soon as I'm sitting at 15:1 using my old tune. But still made decent power considering. LOL
