Lloyd Elliot Heads & GM847 Cam Dyno results!

Well I went to the dyno today, remember I have 4.10 gears & 17X11 wheels with 315/35/17 which don't help horsepower, & moroso cold air with tiny filter

This run was with a cut-out open since I have a stock muffler.

Dyno results are 402RWHP @6500rpm & 373RWTQ @4500rpm, mods are GM847 cam, Lloyd Elliot heads, etc.. in SIG, enjoy guys, can't wait to put the Joe Overton custom cam in now!

congrats on the good numbers.

get track times with this setup, and also after you switch cams. that would be interesting to see.

I made a simple comment, it was not a flame. I JUST think it would be funny if he made less power with JOes cam. If you cant handle that then you need to grow up. Obviously some people on here are little sensative

Its pretty good, lol no I doubt I'll get less power with Joe's cam, I did log the runs & noticed I was only getting 33* of advance on the first run & 34* on the second run, the first run made 395rwhp & second one made 402rwhp, only difference was 1* of advance more, my knock sensor was kicking in which I think is fake knock, seems to kick in if you floor it at low rpms & than it kinda just hangs around retarding, so next time I got with my true duals I'm going to Zero out the knock table & add fuel, I was leaning out to as much as 13.3 AFR at top end.

Hope to get 420 out of this setup with tunning, cuz 33* isn't enough IMO & 13.3 afr up top isn't good either, I'll also put some lighter wheels on

BTW thats uncorrected, corrected its 397RWHP sorry, I bet if I put normal wheels on the back not these big F*ckers & get the timng from 33* to 37* I"ll be easily over that number, because 1* made 7RWHP difference on the dyno, all things being the same & the intake temp was even heigher.

Matt.
