Little help please "codes"
Little help please "codes"
The codes I pulled were
P0430 Catalyst System Low Efficiency Bank 2
P0441 Evaporative Emission Control System Incorrect Purge Flow
P1626 Theft Deterrent Fuel Enable Signal Not Received
My B1-S2 02 sensor was in the 150s, The other 3 were fine. Idle was around 1250 and should be around 800, The MAF was reading 0.0 the whole time, IAC Position was at 0 but when I hit the throttle alittle bit it would read. We also put a smoke machine to it and found a leak around the Throttlebody.. At first we thought it was the gasket but pumping more smoke it looks like the smoke is comming out of the spring on the TB.. So im tihnking a bushing inside the TB? I also have a small rip in my intake elbow from my nitrous lines being pressed down from the hood.

Re: Little help please "codes"
P0430 Catalyst System Low Efficiency Bank 2
Could be a faulty cat. Could be a faulty O2 sensor. Switch the sensors side-to-side. If the problem follows the sensor, its a sensor problem. If the problem stays on Bank 2, its a cat problem, or a wiring problem.
=====
P0441 Evaporative Emission Control System Incorrect Purge Flow
Shoebox's code list shows "Evaporative Emissions (EVAP) system no flow (during purge)". That would indicate a plugged line from the charcoal canister in the rear fender, or a plugged solenoid, or flow sensor switch.

If the MAF sensor is reading "0", its either dead, or the engine is getting all its air through the rip in the inlet elbow, and your vacuum leak. If the MAF sensor is dead, it should be setting a code.
The "0" for the IAC would indicate a vacuum leak as well. Fix the inlet elbow. A piece of duct tape will do it temporarily. Then look for a vacuum leak. You might have a leak in the vacuum line from the side of the throttle body to the EEC purge solenoid, but that would show up as a code P1441, flow during non-purge in most cases. But its worth checking, since you know you have a vacuum leak.

Re: Little help please "codes"
Its definatly not getting all the air from the leaks... You can hear my CAI sucking in goobs of air, Thanks for the 02 idea ill do that this weekend, But im not showing any codes for the MAF.. Ohwell one problem at a time thanks for the help
