Cool A little CC503 Acceleration Video

Only shifting at 6k on the street but it makes power to 6200. Rev limiter set to 6500. Most mods in sig. Stock injectors for now, until I finally get the motivation to install the SVOs under my bed and tune for them. Ignore the warning lights, I have an electrical issue that's driving me insane but that's for another day. Enjoy the video, I'll post a 6500 rpm run when I finally get to the track this summer.

oh man careful with those stock injectors, they are probably well over 100% dutycycle with that cam

i see about 90% with mine and bolt ons

but nice video, how do you like that cam?

Re: A little CC503 Acceleration Video

AFR at WOT is in the 12.1-12.5 with this setup, but I agree I am pushing the injectors to the limit. I have a 255 Walbro as well, so maybe the fresh pump and pickup help me out. What's stopping me right now from putting the bigger injectors in right now is I have an electrical problem that's causing problems with my laptop communicating with the PCM, I won't be able to tune for them.

As far as the cam, I love it. The CC503 is an all around great street cam. I still maintain enough vacuum for power brakes. Excellent power down low and it maintains it all the way through 6200 where it starts to die off, was even somewhat streetable with the stock stall and 3.73's for the 2 weeks I had the stock trans before it blew. I get 16 mpg city 20 highway. The cam also has a decent lope to it I have the idle set at 725.

I promise I will post an idle and rev clip with the cut out open and closed tomorrow as soon as this rain is over. It lopes a lot more with the cut out open.

I think I started out in 2nd gear when I hammered it I didn't actually downshift, love the 3200 converter. I have 3.73's in the rear now and a brand new posi. It hooks. I'm actually considering 4.11's to tell you the truth but I'm not going to do that with the 10 bolt. Should be getting my hands on a 12 bolt soon.
