Terrible gas mileage...

What kind of mileages are you guys getting with your cams?

I have a cam, which is in my sig, and I have gotten terrible gas mileage for about the last year or so.

1 o2 sensor is about 3 years old, which was an autozone bosch, and the passenger side o2 sensor is 1 year old, GM dealer replacement.

Spark plugs are a year old, and the wires are Taylor's put on april of 2010.

Optispark is a GM replacement that was put on in Feb of 2009 and has about 15k on it.

I have a tune, and all the mods are in my sig. I have no emissions left on the vehicle and I'm trying to nail down the bad gas mileage.

Before the cam swap, I was getting like 30mpg on the freeway, and 22 or so in the city. I have a 6 speed and I drive like a grandpa most of the time.

I have been getting 13 MPG for the last 8-9 months and it's starting to get to me with gas going to near $4.

Anything that I can check out? I just want to get to 18mpg.

BTW, the car runs very good without any problems. When I pull a plug, they look very clean and normal, no blackness and the car blows no black smoke and there is no gas in the oil, or smell of raw fuel coming from the tailpipes. It does not appear to be running rich.

I had a bad coil/coil wire and was getting 12.5mpg. Acceleration was fine until 5200rpms where it would miss. Most of the time I wasn't in that power band obviously so my question is, do you drive it WOT anymore? Maybe its just a bad coil or coil wire came undone and isn't fully seated.

since you have a m6 check to make sure your rear ebrake isnt dragging, check filters ect. the bosch brand 02's havent been a good brand for these motors...might want to get your car scanned to see what they are doing.
also clean your Mass airflow sensor with a qtip and rubbing alcohol on the resistors. be careful though, dont use too much pressure.

Last month I replaced the air filter, fuel filter, cleaned MAF with MAF cleaner, and cleaned the throttle body.

Perhaps that Bosch o2 is a problem.

Where could I take it to get it connected to a computer to have a readout on the o2's?

I dont know what kind of scanner auto zone or like parts stores use, but any garage should have a good scanner like a snap on to look at real time data.
I think sears even carries a smaller one that shows real time data. obd2 only for that scanner though
