You will need to switch to the 10 degree retainers to use the +.050
super locks. The part numbers are:

795-16 retainers
614-16 locks

the 7 degree retainers are for the 918s but it doesnt show that the 10 degree retainers work with the 918s also....

Check your rods, this same thing happened to me and after a week back together it spun a bearing, one of the rods was bent, im guessing from the water pressure. just a word of advice.

I have the setup in my car now and its running great. No dyno or track times yet though. The part number for the .50 locks is 614-16.

I was wondering if the state you're in requires you to get an emissions test or whatever you call it, if so does the car pass? Also, you wouldnt happen to have any videos or the car at idle would you? if so email them to me at vandenberg_greg@hotmail.com, that would be greatly appreciated

Thanks, Greg

Yes it did pass emissions but I do still have the stock manifolds on. We weren't able to put the headers on in the time I had left in the shop so its probably 30-40hp short and its quieter at idle. Sorry, don't have any videos.

So, im assuming that the part list u recommended at the beginning of this thread is all the same, except for the locks you used the .50's...i was just wondering i see in the list of parts there, u said piston rings, is that the stock piston ring size? or is that bored out and same with the main bearings? you didnt turn ur crank correct? and on more thing, did u have to get the high rise valve cover's??...

I ended up having the crank turned so I had oversized Rod and Main bearings. Block was bored out .030 so I had to get larger pistons and rings.
