Line Loc problem

I bought a Hurst line loc and an install kit from Thunder Racing. The problem is, I cant get either brake line to get tight or stop leaking on the valve. Has anyone else had this problem? I don`t know if the fittings are wrong or is there something I don`t know.

line lock

did you buy the install kit? the reason i ask is there are brass fittings in the kit to adapt the flare fitting to a straight pipr thread.

might try some teflon tape. Don't know if you are supposed to use that stuff on brake lines, but it is worth a shot i guess.

Use teflon tape on the threads make sure to put it in the same direction as you screw it in and also watch you don't plug off the hole or get any in the lines. Good luck!

Just hope you did not ruin any fittings or you will feel more stupid.

Home made lines, not the TR install kit, but you get the idea:

I guess my picture didn't really help any, whoops. Thats a pic off of my cousins car, there is a line loc on there but you can't really see it, i thought the stock brake stuff was part of it.

some other people have their act together a lil more!
