okay so just for fun im thinking down the line and the possibility of a nitrous setup on my stroker. just out of curousity would would be a safe limit on the setup in my signiture. it wasnt built to handle gobs of nitrous but i did do the normal things that would allow it to handle a little nitrous such as gapping the rings for nitrous and polishing the chamber and pistons and colder plugs. i realize a lot of peeps dont like hyper "crap" especially for nitrous but the nitrous would only be run on racing fuel so thatd help to eliminate detonation hopefully completely. anyways just curious on what people who use cast componets limits are. thanks and im just curious.

 

I'm running the stock crank with Eagle I beams and laid down 530rwhp/66rwtq on the old setup. 600rwhp seems to be around where people start really breaking ****.

 

Who me? 6400 on the old setup 6600 on the new one with the ARP rod bolts.

 

6200rpm is my limiter and ill probably stick with that. full arp bolts on bottom end just regular head bolts with felpro head gasket.

 

i figure if the stock engine can handle a 125hp shot of N2O then surely mine would be able to handle that?
