I'm about to replace my lifters and pushrods. Do i need to buy head gasket, intake manifold gasket and valve cover gasket? The person doing this for me told me that i needed all these gaskets.

Should not need head gaskets.

 

Correct...on LT1, you'll just need to remove your intake...so you'll need that gasket as well as valve covers.

You don't need to remove heads to get to the lifters and pushrods.

Re-check with the person doing this...he might be thinking LS1...I "think" in those engines you need to remove the head to get to the lifters....not sure...I have an LT1.
