What lifters should I use for a cam something like a CC306, or a 230/236, Along those lines.
What lifters do you guys recommend?

 

I'm using the stock lifters with my 306. Works fine. I see no reason to change the lifters unless they're worn out/damaged/etc.

 

I'm running Comp OEM lifters with my XE 230/236. I have some Crane OEM lifters in the box that I need to get rid of if you're interested. I was going to use them, but they took 3 months to get to me so I ordered the Comps.

 

Someone just posted that the comp 875-16's (comp r's) are available once again. Might wanna consider those. Personally, I went with the GMPP lifter kit.

 

I just installed a set of Comp oem replacement lifters P/N 850-16 for about $200. My oem lifters with a mild Crane cam crapped out recently.
