I'm doing head gaskets (which a gallon of water was in a few cylinders) and in trying to loosen nuts to get he rods out I had to ****in crank some gut to get the nuts loose. Now are those nuts suppose to be that tight?
Also while I have my heads off. If I wanted to switch to roller rockers do I just give them to the shop that's checking my heads to put on and what else will have to change if I switch to roller rockers?

First, you'll need the "self-aligning" (S/A) RRs if you don't add the push-rod guide plates. Also, the 1.6 ratio RRs provide a nice performance improvement.
My recommendation is to go with the Crane Gold S/A, 1.6 RRs. They come with new poly-lock nuts (much better than factory) and will bolt on without any problems. Also, they will fit under your factory valve covers without any modifications.
Make sure the 0-lash adjustment is set correctly (1/4 to 1/2 turn preload).
