Lifter install questions

I get to start putting my new engine together tonight and was wondering how long I should soak the lifters in oil before putting them in, and what grade of oil to use.

I soaked my lifters overnight in regular dino oil, seemed to work fine for me.

how long will they stay lubricated once in the engine, because me and my buddy are doing this over a few nights. Hope to put the lifters in maybe tomorrow and hopefully have the whole engine in by this weekend.

Don't see how that would be any different than letting your car sit for a few days without starting it. Just be sure you keep the revs up when you first start it, so that oil will be splashed up on the lobes.
