12499225 is the part # for the LS7 lifters

88958689 is the part # for the Caddy CTS-V Racing lifters

Will the racing lifters work I allready ordered them.Also,do you guys think I messed up the cam by running it for like 3 min with the bad lifters?

Do any of you guys know if sdparts.com has the racing lifters in stock or do they have to back order them?

Not sure on the back order, but from my understanding the 2 part numbers both will work on an LT1, the main difference is that the caddy lifters have ceramic internals and are much lighter, from what I understand.

According to Scroggin Dickey performance, the 12499225 is simply a stock replacement lifter.

Yep they are on back order so I cancled it and ordered the ls7 they have in stock.
