Lifter?

Hay guys I just did a lt4 hotcam swap on my 1996 z28 and now I hear a ticking sound at Idal.Befor the swap I would hear ticking when I was going down the freeway and gave it gas; over my loudmouth so it had to be loud. But I couldent hear it at idal. Now after the new timing chain lt4 hot cam and springs I can hear a ticking sound at idal.I adjusted the rockers three times; thinking it was them but the ticking never got better. Now I think the new springs and cam are causing the old weak lifters to bleed down causing the ticking sound. What do you guys think.

You could just get a stock replacement set, they will be more then adequate for a Hotcam set. Also, the Comp 850-16s are another stock spec replacement set option.

You could just help yourself out and do a search instead of TTT your post several times within a few hours.

No, that is the Comp Rs. There is a big sticky addressing it at the top of this forum page.

Once again search, search, search. You can buy better GM racing lifters for less money than the OEM replacements.
