zip ties and wire looming does wonders. They are like magic cleaning up messy wires, hoses and other messes

are they any good? I have bought some really crappy zip ties before... I splurge on good quality ties now. In fact attaching sensors to exhaust or for temporary rig repair on the trail I use stainless steel ties. They are like band clamps but you don't need a tool to tighten them

Well I made some progress, installed a delteq setup the other week and in doing so spent some serious timing cleaning up the driver side of the motor. Now the passenger side looks like shiiaat.. Thoughts?

Before

After

Clean(er) side

Still need to clean all this up though

I would have liked to mount the delteq up front and under the fan to hide it all, but I didn't have a solid way to mount it at this time.

Nice work. Looks a lot better. I think it would help a lot if the nitrous solenoids and plumbing could be moved.

The driver side looks 10x better!! Good job!

I still say move all that nitrous stuff- that is the biggest thing that looks out of place. It would cost a little dough- but looking at the car and the motor here is what I would do-

Move all your nitrous stuff to the passenger front fender area- then either seal up the holes in your elbow or get a new one and try to mount the nozzles on the underside of the intake elbow. That alone will do WONDERS for cleaning up the engine bay.

Here is the LT1 in my 35 Ford coupe. The engine bay isn't done yet, but it does run now

you could get an alternator relocation kit..

scoot the coils over to the right a few inches, basicly center the coils up with the engine.

mount your pressure regulator on the firewall to the left, and then run the lines up from the rear of the engine..

It's illegal to mount your fuel pressure regulator on the firewall you won't pass tech at the track

definetly relocate your alternator... then you could move your solenoids onto a bracket where your alternator use to be.. put your nozzles on the underside of the elbow, route lines from solenoids to nozzles on the underside of the elbow..

move your regulator, to the passenger fender ,near the firewall, then run to rear of engine.

Yes, the rule states you can't have any fuel blocks, (or regulators) within 6" forward from the flywheel

I've been looking ath alternator relocation kits, my only issue is they are pretty pricey and 1st Gen camaros have issues with low mount kits interfering with the cross member (sometimes), but I'm only using the alternator so I don't need that whole assembly.. I may try to fab something up.
