If you leave the stock idle alone, the Hotcam lopes heavier. Most tuners will raise it a hair so it'll run smoother.

Exactly, 100-150 more rpm can make a big difference at idle.

Or possibly a little more work on the <5% throttle in the tune.

The idle video link dose not seem to be working. I have a similar setup and I'm thinking of getting the LE1.5 cam. I'd like to hear more of this cam with open pipes if anyone has more videos. Thanks

Link Fixed, sorry about that.

Mines coming through Pacesetter long tubes, ORY, and a 3" Cut out dumped before the rear axle. Muffler is a Flowmaster, and you still get some of the tone of it even with the cut out open. Since i put it on, I have not closed it yet. Just coast past the police and your fine lol.

Here is my old setup that went 10.39. 255/263 solid going through true duals with bullets. Idle around 1000

here is same setup making a pass..you can hear the idle at the start of the video. I tried launching at 6800 not on the 2 step and it didn't go so well.

here is the new setup. Custom grind Futral Motorsports solid roller. 26x/27x on a 110...lift around 700ish..hehe. Still a 355 and still going through dual bullet mufflers. Its in my shop so you get alittle echo and sorry about the smoke..I didn't have my MAP hooked up so it was pig rich. Idle around 1200

Comp Cams custom grind...236/236 @ 0.050", 0.608"/0.608" lift with 1.6 rockers, 113(?) LSA (it's been a while since it went in).

Breaking it in, redneck style.

On the dyno (after swapping the motor into a new body, old body was beat).
