Left 02 Lean only at Idle.... Any clues??

I have been trying to get my car running somg-legal before I take it down to the place and today I let it idle for 10 min and it throw a code for Left 02 Lean and then gose away after I drive it. The car runs fine other then that, no stumbles or anything. Any suggestions?

sounds like the o2 isnt getting hot enough at idle, and depends on either the pcm heater circuit or its own little heater thing to get the right reading.

Your sensor is probably going bad though, IMO. I dont hear of too many pcms going out on this type of thing.

Im just saying this from experience...I had a code flash, saying that my left bank was lean...and it only flashed at idle...So, I did some checkin' and my blm's on the driver's side, were off pretty far, so I got underneath the car and started to look...One of my collector bolts, on the drivers' side had backed out, so I had a leak...Fixed the bolt, and my blm's cleared right up.

I'll check that out

I just replaced my left 02 and and checked all the header bolts and the egr bolts aswell, but I'm still having the same problem. I'm going to check the wiring to the 02s and the collector bolts next. The left 02 volts seem to be low, like around .05. I'm going to try to get a record of this on DataMaster
