Lean condition passenger side

After reading a few threads I have come to a preconclusion of something, I plan to get the car scanned today but I want to ask around here for peace of mind for now. I had my ECM tuned and it was adjusted for SVO 30# injectors, suddenly I get the ECM back and install it and I have a busted A.I.R tube on the passenger side with exhaust manifold on the passenger side getting insanley hot rather quickly, which tells me I have a very lean condition there. Could this mean there is a problem in the ECM program??

Re: Lean condition passenger side

It sounds like you have a cat plugging up, and the pressure helped burst that tube. A plugged cat could explain one side being hotter than the other. You are also leaking air into the exhaust, and causing the PCM to add extra fuel the engine doesn't need.

I also answered your earlier thread. Generally its not a good idea to start a new thread for followup to a problem, since that means everyone answering the new thread doesn't have all the facts about the original problem and suggested solutions.

Thanks injuneer. And sorry about that, I wasn't thinking about it, but I see what you are saying about not starting a new follow up thread, shoulda just posted this in the other thread. I guess I thought it was a little different of a direction in the problem at hand, but im still learning these things.
