I noticed the other day while working on my truck that the two of the water pump bolts were loose (the two holding the drivers side gasket to the block). I tightened them up and now its leaking badly. I am fairly sure its leaking from the gasket there as that's where I can see it dripping from. Luckily I havent driven it anywhere and its not hitting my brand new optispark How hard of a job is it to change out the two gaskets of the waterpump? Anything I should look at while its off? Should I use some blue RTV on the gaskets also? Thanks for the help....

 

not hard at all take the bolts off remove the pump clean the surfaces replace gaskets reinstall pump
