Leaking water pump

So my buddy says he smells burning coolant.. i couldnt smell anything cause of this cold i have at the moment. So i get home, put a trouble light underneath the car, an sure enough the water pump is leaking. The car goes away in this wednesday, november 1st so i wont be replacing it till spring. But should i be worried about my opti?

depends on where it is leaking at hose, housing ect. being that its a 94 you have the unvented style opti which in that case you might want to consider replacing your optispark might as well assuming you have to replace your waterpump anyway why do the job twice JMHO
