well it seems when i fill my tank up, and i drive around a bit, the side pannel underneath the gas tank is soaked w/ gas... why would it do this?

 

Which side are you refering to? And when you say panel, are you refering to the wheelwell? If your speaking of the drivers side rear wheelwell, you could have a leak in your filler neck, or a plugged charcol cannister.
