LE3 track times
Well i just got back from the track, best she did tonight was 12.1 at 120.2 mph in a full weight t-top car. This was the first time to the rack with it so there is still a lot more in it i think.

Re: LE3 track times
i still just have a mail order tune and straight 30w oil in it as well. I am also going to try to get a little weight out of the car somewhere. I am going to dyno it in the next few days so i will be able to find out just how much tuning there is to be done. I will post numbers when i get them.

Re: LE3 track times
That is some good mph but you definately need some work in the launching department. My car ran 11.20's@120mph so you can go alot quicker with the HP you are making. Goodluck Later Clint
Re: LE3 track times
GREAT MPH but as mentioned, the ET's can DEFINITELY get better with a good 60 ft. 120 MPH is pretty good for heavy car with the weather we have been having.
I see you have a 6 speed so some Pete Z bars and Drag radials would be the first things to get. Unhook the front sway bar and practice launching. If that is a stock rear end, you might have to slip the clutch or launch and get the car rolling and then tromp it. It will take some practice but a 1.75 60 ft is MORE THAN DOABLE.
If you have a 9" or 12 bolt, it will take a lot less finess and you c an just keep launching at higher and higher RPM's.
What 60 ft where you getting?
Get the launch down and some more tuning and you should have no problem with mid/low 11's.

Re: LE3 track times
my sixty foots were 2.0-2.1 but i was having trouble in second gear it would spin no matter how easy i rolled into it. A lot of the problem was that they were having some church event that had all 16+ second cars that were driving through the water and bringing it onto the track. I am going to get a set of drag radials and subframe connectors and see what that does. I might also go down to 3.73s because when i go through the traps i am really pushing fourth gear a lot.

Shift at roughly 10% past your peak power.
Get the 60' down 'cause a tenth on this end is worth 2 at the other end.
