LE3 runs again! (videos)

well after not running for 4 months I got the car back together. Its still got bugs to work out but DAMN does it pull better than before. amazing what just long tubes, A/C & AIR delete, rebuilt tranny #2, and a properly working torque converter will do for ya.

Ok heres the vids...

Yes, I know my "low oil" light is on. Its got enough oil in it, the sensor must be bad. both of the videos are with open headers. the car seems to stumble a little bit. Hope my opti isn't going out since it has pretty low miles on it.
with this car anything below 30 mph is pointless. it spins the tires so easily. I love it

can't wait to take it to the track. my radiator has a small leak in it and I need to get a full exhaust on it. it ran a best of 12.6 @ 109.7 before on drag radials with some issues, most of which I have worked out. I hope to run mid 12s on street tires but closer to 115 mph trap speeds

I went 114 with a slipping tranny and a leaking fuel injector with the LE2, you should be well past your goal

I'll tell ya a quick story. kind of depressing. when I first got my car running with the 383 last august I took it to the track expecting 12s. I ran a 13.7 @ 103. My bolton time was 13.8 @ 102. Needless to say I was a little on the disgruntled side. After that I won't predict too far off any more. If I exceed my goal... well thats quite alright

Hey your oil light is just like mine. It is usually on and sometimes off. It has plenty of oil. But my eye rarely leaves the oil press gauge...Good luck with getting all the bugs worked out. When you do you'll have an awsome running car.

Javier, Glad to here you got the le2 setup running. Im also using my stock 110k 4l60 and have raced a few times on the street, now 2-3 shift isn't working to well either. I just need to save up a few more dollars for the ctp pro race build.
