Re: LE3 head cam on a CARBED motor
the intake im using now is not a single plane...its a dual.
and i think id use the same carb i have just get the proform 750 main body (flows closer to 800)
how would the cam surge be and what about low end?..i know id a helluva time getting it idle on a cold startup lol

Re: LE3 head cam on a CARBED motor
See my cam specs in the sig- I had my motor test run on an engine stand using a GM Performance Parts LT1 carb intake and an old Q-jet that was set up for a big block. I didn't put it under a load or anything, but it actually idled better than it does with the fuel injection on it now. I guess what I'm saying is I wouldn't worry about that aspect of it. Just get with Bret and see what brand of intake he thinks would be ideal and go.
