LE3 head cam on a CARBED motor

hey guys whats goin on...some of you may know im trying to sell my motor to fund my trip to NTI this fall,..so far i havent to much luck with that..

i was wondering how this would run in a carbed motor...i know the idle with be absoultly INSANE which adds tot he intimadation factor, but how will it run..

an LE3 cam is not the right setup for a single plane intake. It would be pretty sick with the proper cam. Should be good for about 30-40 rwhp.

I wouldn't be bad on that actually.

A single plane with something like a Demon 850 Annular with Vacuum Seconds would be pretty mean IMHO.

the intake im using now is not a single plane...its a dual.
and i think id use the same carb i have just get the proform 750 main body (flows closer to 800)

how would the cam surge be and what about low end?..i know id a helluva time getting it idle on a cold startup lol

See my cam specs in the sig- I had my motor test run on an engine stand using a GM Performance Parts LT1 carb intake and an old Q-jet that was set up for a big block. I didn't put it under a load or anything, but it actually idled better than it does with the fuel injection on it now. I guess what I'm saying is I wouldn't worry about that aspect of it. Just get with Bret and see what brand of intake he thinks would be ideal and go.
