LE2 Stock bottom end lt1 426rwhp 393rwtq through ford 9"

so i got my rear end install finished an decided to throw the car on the local dyno. well before on the 10 bolt it did 415rwhp and 385rwtq but the was in san antonio texas. so now in south mississippi (coast) on the ford 9" with 4.33 gears a different exhaust, TB, CAI, and New tune (email tune from pcmforless) it layed down 426rwhp @6450-6500 and 393rwtq@4000-4500. This is a stock 97 6-speed 145k mile LT1 bottom end with full bolt ons and the LE2 kit made in 2006.

when it made 415 it was on 3" true duals, 58mm TB, Slp CAI with a Trickflow elbow, Stock 10 bolt with 3.42s, and a "ok" tune.

today it made the 426 with the only things being changed was the duals cut off running dynomax bullets on the end of the collectors, AS&M Monoblade TB, LS1 Lid conversion, ford 9" with 4.33 gears and mini spool, and an email tune from pcmforless.

now lets just say im pretty freaking happy it layed down what it did as i was expecting it to be in the 390ish area after the new 9". Not to bad for the ol LT1 car. also just recently ran the car at the track and it did 11.85@119 with a 1.76 60foot

so what you guys think?

Sounds like you got a strong running car and with 119mph that ain't too shabby. You need to work on the 60' and get the short times down. Goodluck Clint

Hell yeah !

Get those 60' times down closer to 1.55 and you're well on your way to an 11.5x pass.

Congrats.

Where did you go for the dyno? Haven't lived down here for too long, so I don't know where anything is. Have to hit the track one of these days also...

shoot that 1.76 60 was a huge improvement over what i was 60 footin with the 10bolt and the 3.42 gears. think the best i could get on the stock rear was a 2.0 lol

for the tire on the rear im running a MT 27x10.50x15 et street. for suspension i have non adj lower control arms, adj panhard bar, edelbrock non adj Torque Arm, Summit Adj rear shocks (set to stiffest setting), V6 Camaro rear springs, Ford 9" with mini spool and 4.33 gears, stock rear sway bar, and an air bag in the right rear spring. the front is all stock except for tokico hp struts , tubular K-member, and front sway removed. the car weights about 3450 with me in it by the way.

for some reason i cant get the car to pull any better than a 1.78 to 1.74 60 foot and thats really hit and miss.

nice HP/TQ results man.

I am sure it runs hard at the track and the 119 MPH shows that.

damn, a stock bottom end goin 120 with no juice or boost is sick! i was trapping 117 with a baby cam and 125 shot and i was overjoyed with that, but damn you got some great numbers!

how are you launching the car? i could never get my 3.42 10 bolt to pull any better than a 2.0 short time either.lol
