Not sure about te LE2 or LE3 but I've seen some from the LE1. The guy pulled only 315RWHP and like 300RWTQ. He had a pretty big list of mods to go with it... water pump, cold air intake, air foil, #30 injectors, PCMforLess tune, 1.6 RR's, Comp R lifters, Magnaflow cat back, and a offroad y-pipe. I've talked to Lloyd and he said with my mods, a "good" PCM tune, 1.6RR's and #30 injectors with the LE1 I should get 365RWHP, and 390RWHP with the LE2. Personaly I think those numbers are 20 or so RWHP high.

Your saying you saw a LE1 setup on an A4 only dyno ~315 whp? I can't belive that. That's like crazy low from what I have seen/heard.

As for an A4 on a LE2, LE3 setup with the mods, i would go more or less ~415 at the wheels. Also don't forget tuning more then half the battle.

When your talking about automatics dyno numbers don't really mean anything. Instead you should be asking what and le1 setup will be running at the track.

But that was with M6. A4 puts down less RWHP. Also the ratings on Lloyds site are listed for the M6. You have to take into account the power loss through an auto

Re: LE2 ,LE3 A4 GUYS what kinda dyno numbers??

Would a 97 Z28 A4 with the supporting mods and LE2 heads and cam pull mid to high 11's at the track?

Looking at this package and my goal is 11.5 to 11.7 all motor in the 1/4.
I'm not concerned about horsepower numbers if it gets me into the 11's(400rwhp would be nice though).

Yes you could get into the 11s with an le2 package. Provided your at sea level(or low elevation), have supporting mods, know how to launch, right converter and gear ratio, have good traction. I would maybe even do a little weight reduction to help even more. Hell atljar hit an 11.98 with stock heads and a gm847 on a 1.6 60'.

Re: LE2 ,LE3 A4 GUYS what kinda dyno numbers??

Besides what I have, and the LE2 package I would also get
CAI
58mm TB
Injectors(not sure wich size)
whole new valvetrain
3.73 gears
yank 3200 stall
sticky tires
intake port matched to the heads
This would put me atleast mid 11's?

If everything is running properly and you have a good tune that stuff should get you into the high/mid elevens. Just remember power isn't everything you've got to have supsension mods to help out with traction. It wont happen right away either it takes awhile to get the car running up to par and everything working together.

i agree high to mid 11's should be what a good LE2 tuned/setup car can get... definitly low 12's if everything is right

Re: LE2 ,LE3 A4 GUYS what kinda dyno numbers??

yes, that should get you there. Wow, and I must say to 94'_Z28, your awful arrogant for stating that you believe that what Lloyds has quoted are 20Hp high. Him and Bret are the ones who designed these packages, I am sure they have a pretty good idea what they put out. These are relative "Swags" at the approximate driveline loss. The difference between Auto to manual is about an additional 4-6%...which isn't that huge. Like someone else stated, with an auto you should be looking at what they are running at the track. There are far fewer variables to getting a good time in an auto, compared to a manual. Therefore IMO the best way to compare these packages would be with auto's being at the track, and manuals on the Dyno. Also if you guys do some searches, there have been a few auto guys that posted here not too long ago, giving there LE package numbers with an A4. One of which put down like 405RWHP, with a relatively small cam, and ported LT4 heads. Besides that, the LE packages are getting better and better numbers lately, and it really comes down to the supporting mods as well. If a person sets up a car well, and has the necessary additions to the package they should have No problem making the advertised power....and this doesn't go for Just LE stuff....its for all engine mods, and other places packages like Ai, Joe O/EB porting, etc, etc. Tuning is also A HUGE part of this as well, dont expect full potential of a custom cam, and ported heads with a mail order tune.

Re: LE2 ,LE3 A4 GUYS what kinda dyno numbers??

Yes. what he said. That auto that put down 315 horse could be running 11s at the track.

Good rule of thumb: Manuals=higher dyno numbers Autos=run faster at the track I know not always but most of the time...also autos dont beat the crap out of the rear end as bad.
