LE2 Heads LE4 Cam ET's
First time out w/ new combo, car goes lean after 5400 (needs bigger injectors) so i was only shifting @ 6000 first pass was 12.8 @ 108 w/ 2.0 60', missed fourth gear then got back into the throttle. Second pass , hot lapped took it off the line at idle again 2.0 60' 12.35 @117, clutch slips alittle when hot lapped only in 3rd and 4th, next pass tried to take it off the line at 3500, burned tires through 1st ran 12.33 @ 117.9 again w/ a 2.0 60', hot lapped it but sat in the lanes for a bit, did nasty burnout to get the BFG DR's hot, took it off the line @ 2500 spun 3/8 the way through 1st squirmed when i hit second clutch barely slipped into 3 and 4 ran a 12.18 @ 118.7 w/ a 1.965 60'. I was pretty happy with the times and was pretty fun beatin up on the LS1's. Track was def. slippery as my buddy's car that runs consistant 12.80's could only muster 1 12 sec pass at a 12.98 rest were like 13.0's and 13.1's. TEmp was about 85 when we got there and about 78-80 after the sun went down, fairly high humidity. So theres alot more in it

Pretty good times for that 60 ft.
VERY nnice MPH for needing more injector and this crummy weather right now. Get some bigger inj, more tuning, shift at 6400 RPM and some good weather (late Oct/Nov) and you should really turn some good MPH.
If you can get the car to get some 1.75 60 ft's, you should be in the mid 11's at 121 MPH with the above mentioned changes/weather.
OBVIOUSLY a better 60 ft or less weight would help also but I am trying to be realistic on expectations of a stock rear end and 6 speed.

Re: LE2 Heads LE4 Cam ET's
Thanks for the replies Llyod and Bret very happy with the combo once i can shift alittle higher and get at least a little more traction it'll break 11's easy which was my goal from the getgo , b/c i knew my 60' would suk . I mean it's a full weight 6 speed, It's really only a street car.Still has A/C. It has slp level II suspension: eibach springs matched to bilsteins, has spohn lca's w/ relocation brackets, spohn panhard, stock trq arm. Went with the cubes just for nasty torque my car makes over 400 rwtq from 2900 up to 5400 (which happens to be where my injectors fall off)= ALOT of fun on the street and highway. Great package Lloyd and Bret another Great COMBINATION.

Those numbers look very promising. Sounds like a strong car. How does that LE 4 cam feel and why did you end up choosing LE2 heads for it? One day I'll have my damn boat assembled and running.

Re: LE2 Heads LE4 Cam ET's
great times for your shake downs. Lloyd does great work. My Impala SS went 12.18@ 112 with a off the shelf CC503 and LE2 heads. With a 3500 stall and a 1.66 60ft in a car that weighs 4400 lbs. The biggest thing that helped me was a 7.74 1/8th at 87 mph. Get your 60ft times down and get a better 1/8th and 11 are deffenetly in your near future. LLoyd rocks.
