That stock band can hardly work with the torque our cars make with bolt ons. You murdered that transmission! I killed a few trannys in my old 97. LOL

I'm in the very NE corner, right next to Bristol. Nashville is around 4ish hours away. You'll be near FastZinTN though, watch out, he will PIITB on the first date.

Really? I was afraid of that. What kind of DA's do you have up there during this time of year...

Ah they're about medium. TN weather switches so much from day to day it's hit or miss. For reference Bristol Dragway is ~2000 ft elevation.

Holy crap that's some terrible DA. Oh well, looks like with the money I make off selling my house I can build a stout 355 and spray the **** out of it with my LE2 setup

Gotta make up for that DA somehow!

I think I read the Nashville area is around 600' elevation tho.. so not that bad..

Im going to the track tomorrow, with a da of -600 I should get some good baseline numbers. Ill be sending of my heads and intake to Lloyd and hope to see low 11's. Lloyd has been really helpful in answering my questions through email.

Re: LE2 Heads/Cam Track times inside... and I broke..

Dont feel bad I had the same thing happen to my Impala! First I killed the 4l60e (input housing) then...well now I have some type of valve train problem. Have you pulled your lifters yet? I had the same thing with the spider bent but my locks were still tight one of the lifters mushroomed in the bore and took out the cam! I spend hours getting it of the the top of the motor only to find that the cam was wiped! But you gotta love it when the LE2 stuff is all fluid!

Vid of the cam: http://videos.camaroz28.com/Player.a...3-1384DFBC53C5

You should see the lifter bottom was flat and the housing cracked in two places...btw they were crane lifters. If your gonna change the lifters think about these:

I like the way there cut open on the ends, just make me feel better about those step LE cam ramps. Good luck!
