LE2 H/C dyno results.

I made basically 2 pulls....

1st pull with stock 48mm tb

399.2 rwhp 363.8 rwtq

2nd pull after switching to bbk 52mm tb

399.8 rwhp 369.8 rwtq.

Torque curve is pretty flat and stayed above 350ft/lbs from start to finish.

The airfuel ratio was better with the stock TB on. I may put stocker back on.
This in on my old tune. I'm a Nat's A$$ from the 400 club, but that OK.

These are Standard numbers.

Nice numbers! What kind of tuning do you have? Did you get SAE also?
Glad to hear that you went!

Re: LE2 H/C dyno results.

If thats on a tune for stock H/C , then you should have a lot more with a good tune

Re: LE2 H/C dyno results.

What kind of tune you got? I'd think it would've been a higher rwhp/rwtq. Got any way to post the graph? I did 380rwtq with my small cam.

Good numbers, can't wait to see the difference when you get it tuned. How does it sound and feel?

What size injectors do you have? Did you replace the lifter too? Thanks.

Re: LE2 H/C dyno results.

good numbers!

you would see more gains from the 52mm if you have the pcm tuned for it. you can't just swap and redyno.

Nice numbers!

I'm just wondering what RPM you pulled until?

Re: LE2 H/C dyno results.

Thanks fellas,
I pulled to 6300 rpm for the best run with 52mm TB.
I have SVO 30# injectors. I have the Comp R lifters.
The car sounds great to me and feels strong.
Right now I'm using Madwolf's tune that he did for me when I had the 230/236/112 with SLP shorties. He did a great job with that combo. I strongly feel that I could pick up a couple of more horses at the wheel once I get the car tuned for Lloyd's H/C package.
My car has always spit out lower HP numbers or ran slower at the track when compared to other cars with similar mods. I strongly believe that my car came off the assembly line on a Friday (employees were thinking of the weekend or a Monday(employees hung over from the weekend).
Overall, I'm extremely pleased. All that's been done, the car STILL has great street manners and normal day to day driveability. My only negative is...I wish the y-pipe would sit a little bit higher, otherwise I'm very pleased.
I'm working on scanning the dyno sheet so that I can send to someone to put in on the net for me.

Re: LE2 H/C dyno results.

That is about 20 more HP than the XE 230/236 cam that you did have. I would be happy with those #'s, especially since yopu are on a tune for another set up.

The bigger TB is surely worth something (5-10 HP) but the tuning (or lack of)is not allowing the full potential.

I am SURE that most will agree that with more tuning, the #'s should realistically end up in the 410-415 RWHP range. Pretty impressive for a cam that is even MORE drivable than the cam you pulled out even with the current tune. More tuning will only help low end and drivability as well.

Re: LE2 H/C dyno results.

Those numbers look good. I'll be ordering the LE2 after I go through emissions in the spring.

Re: LE2 H/C dyno results.

The Master Himself has spoken Mr. Elliot that is

I was pressed for time when I left and forgot to get the numbers converted to SAE. I'm going to have a friend go by the dyno shop and pick up another dyno sheet with SAE corrected HP #s. I'll post them when he brings it to me.

I know how u feel, my car was the same way until the last 2 months(I've had the car since '98). Now I've put down 351rwhp w/ what turned out to be a bad opti, and ran 12.26@111.68 stock heads(I've spoken to lloyd about fixing that problem
