The Lt1 made 25 more hp at 3,000 rpms and 50ft lbs of torque, than the ls1..

Average hp + Average tq, the Lt1 made more power accross the board.

thanks for that clarification and a run from a roll is about the power the car is making, so for one to leave the other so 'easily', it seems to me that 1) dyno numbers don't mean squat, and 2) clearly the LT1 was lighter and/or made more power. Anyone know what speed they raced to?

Damn I didn't know that from a roll the engine starts at and is always stays exactly at the same RPM as its peak hp.

that is a badazz video, it is good to see a modded lt1 take out a modded ls1 and i have both lt1 and ls1 cars but very loyal to my lt1.
