I was just wondering what fel-pro 1074 head gaskets does to the compression on LT1's. Does it raise it a little or lower the compression a little compared to stock? and by how much?

I think they raised it a little. I have used them before....I think it is .041 I will check

 

damn - I was hoping they lowered it a little. Oh well. thanx for the info

 

raises it its a .039

 

Qick math says it will raise it from 10.4 to 10.7.

The stock gasket is already thicker than anyone should want.
