The LE3 package will "more" than do what your wanting to, as you can see from my 95 LT1 with the (more conservetive)LE2 package with an LE1 cam in my sig.......Pushrod length should Ideally be checked with everything assembled on your car.....but Most people seem to end up within 50thousanths or so of the stock 7.2 length pushrods.....and as far as brand, the comp Hi-tech pushrods are one of your best choices....and 30 or 36 LB Ford Motorsport injectors should be more than enough for your combo.......good luck with it.......Joe

The LE3 package should be more then enough to get you to your goals of 12s. As for the pushrods, get the pushrod length checking tool as mentioned above and go with a set of chromemolys.

Lloyd compares his LE3 cam to the GM847. As mentioned above, you would essentially be using an LE3 cam on top of the LE2 heads. Just mention this to Lloyd prior to his services to make sure you have the correct spring application.

It's a tad bit bigger than the 847.

Yeah but it's still not a good idea to put cams that want to turn 6800rpm for best results and a good life on a stock shortblock.

Joe B has a good example of a smaller cam that works well without RPM and big duration.... just happens to be the cam that is REALLY close to speed_demons. Both are doing 118mph+ in the 1/4.

I'd recommend the LE2 heads and LE1 cam. That will provide a nice running combo overall on a 350ci engine.

Yup, your right on that Bret, the LE3 would be better if he was rebuilding to a 355.
