LCA weld-in brackets...worth it?

Ive been checking out the package offered by Thunder for lowering your car:

"Thinking of Lowering Your Camaro or Firebird? Here's everything we recommend to do the job, all in one package! We'll include Eibach Pro-Kit Springs, BMR Weld-in Lower Control Arm Brackets and a BMR Adjustable Panhard Rod for one low price! (Bolt-in brackets available for $40 additional.)"

I do want the LCA's but are they brackets necessary? If not, are they worth getting?

Thanks!

Doug

If your lowered or plan on doing it, probably a good idea, I bought a used 10 bolt and they were already weld-ed on ...

Anyone know if LCA's will help you 60' time on street tires at all?

LCAs will help pretty good, but relocation brackets will help even more, even on street tires.

BTW, I would suggest getting them, problem is youll pay close to $40 if not more to get them welded in, unless you can do it yourself, so bolt in might be better for ya.

Cool. Well I have a hookup at the muffler shop so welding wont be a problem...Id rather have stuff welded anyways; that way you KNOW its not going anywhere...

I am still on street tires, and I installed some BMR tubular LCAs and the weld-in brackets, and I could tell a difference. It is easier to get traction off the line now. I would say definitely go for it!

Did you get the RACE VERSION or the STREET VERSION as far as your LCAs from BMR ?

street version, the race versions have rod end(metal bushing) and can be very noisy. Unless, you are into alot of road noise and vibs. Street versoin would ride better and alittle quiter.
