LCA relocation brackets worth it?

Are the LCA relocation brackets worth it on a non lowered car? Any experience or gains noticed?

Yes. I noticed much improvement with my stock height car.

Even in the center hole, it is a lot better. In the lowest hole, you get great straight-line traction, but taking hard turns will get the rear to kick out at the last minute.

I have welded-in ones, but also put a stock bolt/nut in the top/stock hole for added strength.

Go for it!

Yes. They are also known as anti-squat brackets because they keep your LCA parallel to the ground under hard launches (increasing traction).

You will see a greater improvement on a lowered car, however the benefits will still be apparent on a car with stock ride height.

Are they worth it? maybe not if you put the money towards better tires....

Well it depends on how hard you are hitting the tires. On E/T Streets it is the diference between a consistant launch and a hit and spin launch I make my own for each rear end. Last set was 0*, 4*, and 7*. On the 4* setting I can launch the car to 1.7 60ft times on street tires

For many people it will get them into the 1.9 60ft area on street tires if they are spinning to 2.0+ 60s

Good luck!

The weld in are cheaper, but then again u have to have them welded on which costs extra but i bought the bolt ons and when i have my DD SFC put on i had the shop weld on my bolt on brackets. As long as u dont pln to pull them out anytime soon, IMO weld ons are the way to go. Im not a big fan of the idea of bolt on Brackets and bolt on SFC. But thats just me.

I'm neutral on them. I have them on my 12 bolt and didn't notice much difference. I still spin street tires like always (low 2.2 60-foot) and my ET Streets still hook up like always (low 1.7 60-foot).
