LCA question

I have had a problem for awile now with a loud noise comming from the rear of my car and I put it on a lift today and discovered my driver side lower control arm was really loose. When I hit it on the sides, it would move from side to side . The other side seemed to still be alright. My question is when I got to replace my LCA's (BMR), should I replace my uppers also or if they are ok, will it be fine? Thanks for your help guys .

hmm...well I might be wrong about the upper control arms. I don't know that much about suspension. All I do know is that my driver side LCA is trashed on the driver side rear. Anyone else know anything about this ?

Old bushing probably tore, or wore away. A new set should remedy the problem.
