the last final part to my scheme but what kind?
i am looking for an affordable valve spring to use for my 224.230 cam does anyone have any recommendations? preferably something under 125 dollars with everything needed for install on stock heads. i was looking at the comp 987's would they fit the stock heads?

The 987 spring might cost ~85 but after getting the locators, retainers and locks it will come around 200. Combination cary their own springs that should work with this cam, the cranes 10308 should also work fine
