Which larger OEM (Ford/GM) injectors fit the LT1?

Im in the market for some larger injectors to support my cam-only LT1. I know there are larger Ford/GM injectors that drop in the LT1, but I don't know where to start. I've been told the '03/04 Cobra injectors would work but Im not entirely sure, just need a cheap alternative to purchasing SVO's. Don't want to spend over $100 cuz I still need a retune.

So what are our options?

Just pick up a used set man. I grabbed 42 lb racetronix injectors for like 200 bucks.

Im looking at some SVO 30lbs injectors which are fairly inexpensive but Id still prefer saving a few bucks since its just a project car.

They are used for good prices all over. Nothing wrong with a lightly used injector.

I agree, injectors are not needed in a cam only car. I'm at 375 rwhp heads/cam still running the stock injectors.

Also, good luck finding a decent used set of injectors for $100. FIC sells reconditioned Bosch III injectors for $185.

Cam only won't need an injector upgrade, I agree. There are deals on injectors everywhere but I wouldn't set a price limit at $100, more like $150 for a decent set of used injectors. I paid $130 shipped for my 30# SVOs off of this site with a few thousand miles on them.

You can increase the flow capacity of your stock injectors simply by raising the fuel pressure, with an AFPR. But as noted above, you probably don't need larger injectors with only a cam. On the other hand, if its running 114 MPH in the 1/4, it would appear to have more than a cam.

My car is gutted and has every single bolt-on which might account for the MPH. Im just stumped as to why the car fouls out plugs, it seems to only happen once I go WOT. After a fresh set of plugs and part throttle driving it runs fine.

My old TransAm did the same thing and never had problems after I installed some RX 32lbs injectors and a retune.

With 375rwhp I would put some bigger injectors in there. Thats probably 100% DC, if you are at 80% i would upgrade.

With my fuel pressure set at 50 psi I have the stock injectors maxed out. I have been running it for several years this way. But, do plan on upgrading injectors this spring.

Great post about using GTP Injectors. I was able to get 8 injectors for like $35.

Counted Out-

What year GTP's will work? Do they have the same style connector or will we need an adapter?

Thanks

Not sure about the connectors - I haven't put them in yet.

You also indicated in the post above that you were running higher than stock fuel pressure, and that they are maxed out.
